In depth

Verdict

Paul Hanagan has been amongst the winners here and at Jebel Ali and though his mount Art Of War hasn't won since Nad Al Sheba four years ago he's dropped to a lowly mark and ran quite well at Jebel Ali on Friday. Grand Duchy scored over this trip at Sharjah before finding 5f just too short at Jebel Ali when Ritual and Effort were behind and is running well enough to be given a shout though it's Ali Al Raihe and Royston Ffrench who should again have the call with INNOCUOUS. Disqualified after passing the post first here in 2011, he's returned to action in excellent shape, finding a mile just beyond him when runner-up to Trojan Nights in November and running very well behind the in-form Ganas a month ago when Forevertheoptimist, a Sandown Listed wnner in 2011, was behind.
