        Verdict

        Doug Watson is back in form and the UAE champion trainer has three entries. Layl was in tremendous form over a mile here last winter and the step-up in trip is no problem as he stays on strongly. Mizbah returned to action here last month and made all for a facile victory in a track record time. He's up 9lb and is unlikely to get an uncontested lead this time. Etijaah went up 9lb for a comfortable victory over track and trip in November and has been unable to cope when stepped up in class. EMOTIONLESS, the 2015 Champagne Stakes winner, disappointed at the highest level last summer and looked very much in need of the run on his reappearance here last month. He'll have come on a bundle for the run and can start making up for lost time. Godolphin also run the USA winner Alabaster, who showed a bit more dash over a mile here last time. The Korean-based Triple Nine ran a tremendous race on his debut here last month and with that under his belt has to be a threat to all.
