          Verdict

          SHAWAAHID, a triple winner for Richard Hannon, has performed with credit in all three starts here in better company and though looking a few pounds high should be suited by the drop in class and gets the nod. Active Spirit could hardly have won more easily than he did last time though that was over an extra two furlongs and he's 8lb higher. Bochart, who could only finish third in that latter race, was up with the pace until fading in the closing stages so this shorter trip will be in his favour and he looks best of Satish Seemar's trio with Richard Mullen on board. Munaaser is inconsistent and it's a long time since he won a race but Muhtaram pops up every now and then and is quite well treated.
