In depth

Verdict

International ratings have EARL OF CARRICK clear in this and though his propensity for starting slowly is very much against him, if he gets away reasonably well the form of his two latest runs here should be good enough for this. Race To Dubai hails from an in-form yard and produced his best run to date when finishing strongly over a mile behind Blue Sea. The longer trip will suit as it will Cool Wind, who caught the eye when staying on late behind Count Paris over 7f in November. Periphery is held by the selection on latest running though that was an improvement on his opening effort here and the former Godolphin colt isn't out of this.
