Titinius is chanced at the principal expense of Superior Star and Powerberry. Micky Hammond's charge showed improved form at the back end of the season on the level an d if capable of maintaining the forward progression, he wouldn't be out of this at a price. Superior Star wasn't totally disgraced on hurdling introduction and is worth a look if the market speaks favourably. Powerberry should relish the inclement weather that has hit the area in recent days and is respected on a recent run behind Jayo. Luna Landing had been disappointing on the flat and comes here having had a small break. Royal Citadel was a frustrating maiden on the level but should handle the surface. Sir Quigley ran a decent race at Perth on fast ground but has it to prove in spite of Graham Lee's booking. P'Tit Vouster can be expected to have gone on for a first outing. A moderate affair in which Titinius is the token selection.
