In depth

Verdict

The 11-year-old Dun Faw Good has never won under Rules but should strip fitter for last month’s run at Sedgefield. Mahler Lad has run poorly in both starts this season and needs to get back to his best but Achill Road Boy is now 5lb lower than for his only win over fences and was well backed last time at Fakenham. MISFITS and So Satisfied finished 1-2 over course and distance last month and the former is now 2lb better off courtesy of the latter’s subsequent victory at Catterick – he looks the one to beat again.
