Royal Mandate, who has been lightly raced, was only headed at the last over track and trip last month. He has been left on the same mark and should go well but NEFYN BAY ended a losing run over fences here last time. He can race off a 4lb lower mark back over hurdles and Abbie McCain takes off a further 7lb so he looks the one to be on. Berkshire Downs is a long-standing maiden but Professor Plum is better than he showed at Catterick in December and has place claims. Wind Of Hope was first past the post at Sedgefield on Boxing Day but thrown out by the stewards and he didn’t run as well next time off this higher mark.
