    Verdict

    Only three runners which is a bit surprising as ROYAL SKIES has taken a 13lb hike in the weights after sluicing up at Pontefract last week and may have been worth taking on. As it stands, Mark Johnston's charge should get a good tow from stablemate Dorfman and is left with only the maiden Eric The Grey to beat. The latter may improve for the longer trip but will need to if he's to open his account in this.
