Verdict

Windsor maiden winner Asaas didn't step up as expected on his handicap debut at Beverley and looks a bit high in the weights. It was only a Hamilton seller that What Wonders Weave won last time and will need more while Born To Boom steps out of a victory in Class 5 company at Carlisle. UNDER CONTROL beat two rivals in a maiden here a year ago then followed up at Chelmsford a couple of weeks later. He was having his first subsequent start when a close third at Kempton late last month and will be difficult to beat. Pantera Negra completed a double in minor handicaps and didn't run badly at this level next time and Tom Queally is an interesting booking.
