    Verdict

Solo Mission won a Class 5 handicap at Ripon but couldn't quite make the step up in grade at Kempton and this is an even higher class. Pioneertown has taken a long time to reach his peak but looked ready to score soon when staying on strongly over 1m4f at Kempton. Star Of The East has been unfortunate and looks the type to be suited by the longer trip but the vote goes to TOR, an easy winner over this trip at Chester before finding the Melrose Handicap too tough at York.
