The trio to concentrate on in this handicap are SIMPLE RHYTHM, Secret Venue and Compton Ford with the vote given to the first mentioned. The selection arrives here in good heart after winning at Southwell earlier in the month when she got the better of Cavitie. She has trip and ground to suit and she can strike again while the iron is hot. Compton Ford finished fourth behind Secret Venue over this course and distance last time, and on these terms Secret Venue should be capable of upholding the form. However, both horses have won over this course and distance and they should not be taken lightly. Pedregal and Badtanman are both pretty consistent, and the form of Badtanman's last run at Ayr has worked out well. He could go well at a price, but Simple Rhythm looks a safer bet and gets the vote.
