Verdict

Valantino Oyster has 6lb extra to carry for winning an amateurs race at Beverley. But Eilean Mor escapes a penalty for his recent victory at Ayr where he beat Vittachi easily enough in an apprentices race. The latter should figure once again but GEANIE MAC is dropped in class on the back of a couple of placed efforts and it could be the turn of Linda Perratt's mare today. The veteran Dhaular Dhar went close over a mile at Ayr last week but has never won over further than 1m2f.
