Another competitive handicap in which we will side with Henry Hall at the expense of Aegean Dancer and Wanchai Lad. The selection is a ten year old now and this will be run number one hundred and three for this veteran. Having said that he showed no sign of his age when winning at Nottingham on his penultimate run. That was his first win in nearly three years and now off a four pound higher mark he could clearly be well ahead of the handicapper once more if able to perform to his best. Aagean Dancer is a winner twice this season and now carries a six pound penalty for his latest win at Carlisle when getting the better of Smokin Beau. There is now six pound turn around in the weights for a distance of three quarters of a length so placings ought to be reversed this time around. Wanchai Lad is another to note in the betting market as although his form has been a little in and out this season he has been contesting in better races than this and is well in on old form so is worth noting. But for the winner we return to Henry Hall.
