Verdict

Silverlord was handed a first win over hurdles by the last-flight fall of Dylan Ross at Down Royal last month. That was the first success of any description for Gordon Elliott's charge since March 2007 and he must be worth taking on here under a penalty. The vote, therefore, goes to KAOLAK who was a decent miler on the Flat but had been struggling to get home over hurdles prior to his second over this C&D 12 days ago - this sharp track undoubtedly play to his strengths. Jersey Boys has proved disappointing while Via Archimede may need this, but Raleigh Quay has won twice here on the Flat and could challenge for a place if his stamina holds out.
