In depth

Verdict

Lets Roll gets the vote in this intriguing contest ahead of Leslingtaylor and newcomer Crocodile Dundee. The selection was more than useful on the flat and finished a good second on his hurdling debut here three weeks ago. He looks sure to improve for that first effort over timber and can go one better today. Leslingtaylor looks to have obvious claims, however he was all-out to win by a nostril at Market Rasen, and whilst he has been given a fair break to recover form those exertions, he may struggle today under a penalty. He drops back in trip today which doesn't look ideal. One who shouldn't lack speed is Howard Johnson's Crocodile Dundee who was a Group 3 winner on the flat in Denmark and a Listed winner at Windsor. He makes his hurdling debut today and if he adapts to the hurdles, then he could be in the shake-up. Of the rest, Kames Park is an interesting newcomer although he is held on flat form, as is Sentiero Rosso, whilst San Deng would have to step up massively on his first run over hurdles. Ultimately then, we return to Lets Roll as our idea of the winner.
