In depth

Verdict

Barneys Honour has been running very well over hurdles and reverts to fences on a 13lb lower mark but he's definitely better over timber and was beaten a long way behind HANS CRESCENT at Cork just over a year ago. The winner hasn't been in the best of form but has been running in better company so this drop in grade can enable him to get back on track. Uncle Tom Cobley has won once from 24 starts over fences and that was over two years ago and though Carloswayback has a touch of class he's had very little experience over fences and is high enough in the weights. Pass The Hat has had even less experience having run just three times in minor company over fences and shown nothing like his hurdles form.
