Red Epaulette won the first race of the new Turf season in convincing style here in March. The form hasn't really been boosted but he had plenty in hand and there should be much more to come. NEVER BEFORE has a fine pedigree and looked like winning on his debut over 6f at Dundalk but couldn't quite hold Fort Myers with St George's Head two lengths behind. Joseph O'Brien's charge is taken to go one better as though the winner's yard is represented by Harpocrates his pedigree suggests he'll need further. Siskin is another who could need another furlong at this stage.
