Verdict

Aidan O'Brien doesn't have the greatest of records in this but had seven entered at the early stage and relies on the newcomer Loved. She's by Galileo out of a mare who has produced winners with her first three foals including Battle Of Marengo. Not surprisingly she holds classic entries and has to be considered, especially as her trainer should know how he stands with PLEASCACH. Jim Bolger's Teofilo filly finished runner-up to Bocca Baciata in a Navan Listed contest on her reappearance with Ballydoyle's subsequent Cheshire Oaks winner Diamondsandrubies back in third. That form looks strong enough for this though Newmarket runner-up Zannda didn't appear to be enjoying the fast ground and this should be more to her liking. Avenue Gabriel has so far failed to recapture her excellent juvenile form though both starts have been on very heavy going.
