In depth

Verdict

Last year's dual Group 1 winner QUIET REFLECTION is comfortably the highest rated here and will love the conditions. It was very fast ground when she reappeared in the Temple Stakes at Haydock in May and she hasn't run since but her class should see her through. Aidan O'Brien runs three and the three-year-old Alphabet, who ran a superb race behind Caravaggio on testing ground at the Curragh two weeks ago, would probably take advantage if the selection isn't at her best. Only Mine has been in superb form having won two Listed contests recently, though he has it to do against Gordon Lord Byron on their 1-2 at the Curragh in July. Flight Risk has been racing over further but, with the ground in his favour, could get into the frame at a fair price.
