Verdict

POLLY DOUGLAS was in superb form early last summer winning three out of four including on this track. She made a very promising comeback at Cork and Gary Halpin, who has more experience than most of these young riders, can steer her home. Early Call has yet to win but went very close over the track and trip last month when only headed in the closing stages so he's greatly respected. Kindly has only run once on Turf but was going well at Dundalk over the winter though may be a few pounds high. Clare Island is another much better known for her exploits on Polytrack while Snow Patch was having her first start on Turf when not far behind Early Call here last time and can get into contention. Daliyah has never won but her best effort came on her only handicap start at Fairyhouse so she's respected.
