Verdict

Full Moon couldn't handle heavy ground at the Curragh after scoring at Dundalk so is expected to bounce back though he was earlier beaten narrowly by Bobby Boy at Naas. The latter was also unsuited to the heavy going at the Curragh last time and can do better, a remark that also applies to Escamillo, who won here in October but hasn't made the expected progress. Editorial was well supported on his racecourse debut over 7f at Dundalk in February and stayed on strongly to beat Irish Minister. There's more to come and he should be in the shake-up but a line through the latter gives MAGNETIC NORTH the call here. He was conceding him 7lb when beaten a short-head at Gowran then beat a big field of handicappers in fine style on fast going at Leopardstown. London Icon wasn't disgraced in a Naas Listed contest last time and takes a drop in class. Venetian Rock is an interesting newcomer for Jim Bolger as he's a half-brother to a couple of smart winners.
