Most of these will be in action over hurdles this winter including Pond Cottage, an impressive bumper winner at Down Royal in August. Donatis Comet completed a hat-trick of bumper victories before twice a beaten favourite over shorter. He must be on the short-list along with Johnny Murtagh's mount Clonbur, who has been racing over trips much too short. HIDDEN UNIVERSE landed a Grade 1 bumper last year and made a winning start over hurdles in December. He has the quality to make a very useful performer over timber but should have enough class to take this. Despite only winning once in 14 starts, Louisville Lip hasn't done much wrong and ran very well when last seen on the Flat at Galway in August. Pineau De Re is a cracking prospect over timber who should be ideally suited to this trip and soft ground on the level.
