Winning bumper Fakir led until the last before weakening quickly over 2m4f at Punchestown and will be suited by dropping back in trip. Fusain, from a yard in top form, also ran well for a long way in the same race. FESTIVAL D'EX was a very impressive bumper winner on that track in April and can make a successful hurdling debut as Tiger Tap Tap, the selection on his neck defeat by Sir Erec at Leopardstown last Christmas, didn't run very well on his reappearance behind Surin at Naas.
