LONGHOUSE POET won a point-to-point and a Punchestown bumper before a fine hurdling debut behind the smart Elixir D'Ainay over 2m3f at Naas. He had Column Of Fire, a bumper winner on this track, 13 lengths back in third and can go one better. The latter's yard also run Coolagh Park, a disappointing odds-on chance for a Ballinrobe bumper but much more likely to make a hurdler. You Can Call Me Al reappeared with a very good run over 2m at Naas when just failing to find the necessary pace and today's trip should be ideal. Envious Editor, a winning point-to-pointer, was narrowly beaten over 2m twice last winter and is another who should do better over this extra.
