Chino Valdes landed a Fairyhouse handicap at the end of last month and was by no means disgraced under a 12lb rise behind Lascalahall at Gowran but this looks just as tough. A line through the latter gives QUARTETTO a winning chance at the weights here as he appears very well handicapped over timber these days and though he doesn't win often enough this should be within his capabilities. Odonimee returned to form here recently but that was over the minimum trip and she has an 8lb rise to contend with. Take A Stroll, who was well beaten in that event, was having his first start since showing improved form last spring and will have come on for the run. Strange Encounter hasn't been seen since falling at Cork in November 2009 and will find this very tough while Red Basil is now on his highest ever mark despite not having won for a year.
