Navajo River showed nothing in maidens but stepped up to 1m4f at Roscommon and created a 200/1 shock. Paddy Harnett's claim reduces his huge weight and this isn't the toughest of handicaps. GLYDE RANGER was having his 14th start when losing his maiden tag in a 1m5f Sligo handicap and has been raised 9lb for a comfortable success. He can go in again with James Ryan's claim a major plus. Navy Beach started favourite for a Galway handicap after a couple of decent runs though didn't look like winning and he's never been anywhere near this trip. Kermiya looks the type to do better over this sort of trip but Charlie Darling has been unplaced in all ten starts including in a claimer last time.
