Verdict

OZZIE THE OSCAR was always travelling strongly when making a winning debut over hurdles at Taunton last month. Though the form is nothing special, there is plenty of scope for further improvement and he may be capable of giving 6lb to the equally-unexposed Herewego Herewego. Alan King's charge caught the eye on heavy going here in February and looks a bigger danger than Sandown winner Starving Marvin. Persian Breeze never threatened when made favourite at Fakenham last month while Baraymi disappointed last time at Doncaster. No Heretic was a useful sort on the Flat in his younger days but hasn't raced since 2013 and would have preferred a faster surface.
