Verdict

Antartica De Thaix is hard to evaluate but her Wincanton conqueror has won twice since. Ruby Rambler has been keeping good company while Avispa probably needed her run at Ludlow nine days ago but has been frustrating to follow. Lady Of Lamanver was only beaten a short-head at Fontwell two weeks ago but Rene's Girl and Surtee Du Berlais may have a bit more scope and both go on the short-list. BRIERY QUEEN benefited from slightly better going at Doncaster last month and won nicely in the end. This track is similar in nature and there is no reason why Noel Williams' mare shouldn't make a bold effort to win her third race over timber.
