Verdict

The two 'P's' can dominate here with PERSONIFIED preferred to Piano. Ed Vaughan's Doyen filly ran well on debut behind Knotgarden at Yarmouth and that looks fair form for the track. Her 14/1 price tag suggested not too much was expected but with Richard Hughes booked for the ride today she should run well at inflated odds. Red Intrigue is rated 72 and her handicap debut at the track was full of promise, Piano looks likely to step up on just a fair introduction at Nottingham on softer ground, whilst Easy Terms and Silent Oasis are exposed and opposable. The most interesting newcomers appear to be the Shamardal filly Dark Promise, the very stoutly-bred Kashmiriana and the Khalid Abdulla-owned Land And Sea. Shades Of Grey was a bit of a madam before her excellent second to Comedy Act at Leicester but has since flopped at Salisbury so looks up against it today.
