In depth

Verdict

Watheeqa made a reasonable debut at Kempton in October and may not have been suited by softer ground on her return at Haydock. The form is nothing special nor is that of Scottish Jig, though she looked very green at the former track in December. Imperial Choice is by New Approach and a half-sister to a couple of minor winners while Ivaldi is also related to two winners and should be suited by this trip. SNOW WIND is by High Chaparral out of a 1m2f winner and is related to five winners so gets the nod to make a successful start.
