COMMEND beat little when landing the odds at Carlisle last time but couldn't have done it any easier. Handicapping for the first time here, there should be plenty more to come from him. Valiant Girl proved a disappointment on her handicap debut at Goodwood having won at the same track before that but Docs Legacy has scope for improvement on only his second start of the year. Rose Season is another who could figure with the 3lb claim of Dominic Fox helping her cause but Drummond makes more appeal on his recent second at Bath. Freddy Q may get involved if rediscovering his early season form.
