Verdict

Tidal Run would have claims if taking part but was engaged to run in a similar event at Catterick yesterday. Clive Cox and Rachel King teamed up to win last year's renewal with Covert Decree and top weight SHADES OF GREY makes most appeal in this. A close second at Bath last time, she landed a double over 1m3f here last month and gets the vote. The Ducking Stool went close under today's amateur over a shorter trip at this track recently and should be in the firing-line once again while Serena Brotherton's presence on The Quarterjack suggests another big run from him on the back of a victory at Bath.
