In depth

Verdict

Richard Fahey won this a year ago and has five entries this time, headed by the filly REALTRA. Costing just 10,000 euros as a yearling, she gets in here with a feather weight and, after her close second in a Naas Listed race, she should prove very difficult to beat. Fast Act has been ridden by Jamie Spencer in both runs to date and the combination can go well after looking progressive at Carlisle and Pillar Box could hardly have been more impressive on fast ground at Bath. The Hannon yard have won this twice in the last nine years and though Tiggy Wiggy has to be considered after her excellent run in the Queen Mary only one recent winner has carried this sort of weight. Parsley is another for the yard and looks reasonably treated as does Harry's Dancer, only eighth in the Queen Mary but a stone better off with Tiggy Wiggy.
