Verdict

Ahtoug had been in excellent form in Dubai before returning with a fair run in the King's Stand Stakes but didn't go so well in a Group 3 at Sandown next time. Heeraat had only four rivals to beat in this a year ago and this is much tougher while Highland Colori would prefer another furlong and some rain and was behind Rocky Ground at Windsor last month, as was Music Master, who has since run very well in the Diamond Jubilee. It's a long time since a three-year-old won the race but the lightly-raced and progressive Naadirr should give a good account. All of INTIBAAH's three victories on Turf have come on soft ground so connections will be hoping the going eases. He won an Ascot handicap in October and reappeared in May to score at Haydock and now looks ready to step-up into this grade so gets the verdict.
