Verdict

After scoring at Salisbury, Bobby Wheeler pulled too hard on soft ground at Goodwood and finished last of three. Storm Rising came here for a maiden last month and duly obliged in the soft going. There's much more to come and he'll be thereabouts but Galesburg's victory at Epsom was gained in more testing conditions and he's up 4lb while Forgotten Wish looked certain to be suited by this longer trip when staying on strongly at Goodwood. MISSY BLUE EYES (NAP) - a gelding despite the name - showed some promise at Nottingham then landed a Windsor maiden in the style of a nice soft-ground type at around this trip. He was conceding 3lb to a horse rated 79 and beat him a neck so today's opening mark of 75 looks lenient and he can go in again.
