Sacred Shield has twice gone close on turf since scoring at Wolverhampton but Sir Henry Cecil's filly appears to have a little to find with Fine Threads on these terms on a line through Windsor runner-up Mountain Range. Abdicate beat a couple of Mahmood Al Zarooni runners in her maiden at Ripon but both have been well beaten since and her form doesn't look as strong as that of MASARAAT. In need of her reappearance at Salisbury, the latter left that run well behind when beating two previous winners in good style at Nottingham and shouldn't be fazed by this easier ground. Hughie Morrison enjoyed a successful Royal Ascot so top weight Isolate can't be ignored after just failing to hold off Golden Aria at Salisbury two weeks ago.
