In depth

Verdict

Rule Book had decent form earlier in the season while Little Dutch Girl went down with all guns blazing off her new mark at Salisbury but this will be her first run on a quicker surface while Novirak has a penalty for his narrow defeat of The Bells O Peover in a race at Epsom confined to jump jockeys. Something was clearly amiss with PURIFICATION at Newmarket last time and he's been racing over longer trips lately but he's now a pound lower than when a close-up third at Windsor in May and has the ability to land a race like this if putting his best foot forward. Faster ground should see Franciscan in a better light and he's another for the short-list but Rawaki is 3lb higher than when a beaten favourite at Kempton last time.
