      Verdict

Older horses Edinburgh Knight, Scarf and Skilful all have decent claims in this, though it's a while since the latter was on the track. Saigon hasn't managed a win this year but has run some good races, including when beaten less than five lengths in the St James's Palace Stakes and when close up behind Producer at Goodwood last time. The winner has a 3lb penalty carry here and is also better on a turning track so there may not be much to choose between the pair today, though there's a good chance that third Zumbi could finish ahead of both. Right To Dream needs to improve while Silverheels usually finds at least one too good and I'm So Glad's bubble was burst at Doncaster last week and she faces a similarly stiff task at the weights here. VAN ELLIS has a decent strike rate and is fancied to bounce back from an abortive trip to Istanbul where he was stepped up in class. He's more effective over this trip.
