        In depth

        Verdict

A very tricky race that may go to Danish Monarch, with Moscow Times and Sforzando put forward as the main dangers. The selection put up some decent efforts in defeat last season when trained by John Dunlop including a close second behind Kythia in an auction event at Beverley, jockey Dane O'Neill teamed up with the David Pinder yard on Sunday and was just pipped on board Kindness, so the booking is another plus. His recent third behind Millfields Dream over an inadequate trip showed his well being and he looks to be solid each-way material. Moscow Times is burdened with top-weight but wasn't beaten far by the in form Bridgewater Boys last time and should go close this evening. Sforzando could be best of the rest, she was only beaten four lengths in a better class event at Newmarket last time and still appears to be well treated. Not a race to get too involved in but Danish Monarch looks to have strong claims and gets our vote.
