Verdict

A typically-competitive renewal of this Listed race for mares but Charlie Longsdon has won two of the last three renewals so it would be no surprise if Jet Set came good. After placed efforts in decent company at Doncaster and Ludlow, she was still in front when falling at the second-last on her handicap debut at Sandown and neither the ground or trip will be an inconvenience. Midnight Tune beat If You Say Run in a Grade 2 at Sandown last month with Sensulano finishing third. The runner-up may be the pick of the weights among that trio today and the fourth has won since to boost the form. Kalahari Queen was never in any danger last time at Exeter and is interesting but JUST A THOUGHT isn’t badly treated against a few of these on the form book. She should have won before now but may finally have her day today. Sunshade may appreciate a return to a longer trip but Roksana and Petticoat Tails will need to improve again to complete the hat-trick. Lady Of Lamanver was too keen here last time and had nothing more to give in the closing stages but she’ll be a threat if she settles better and Kaloci is proving consistent.
