Verdict

SIR RODERIC won at Chepstow last month and went close again when runner-up in a higher grade than this at Windsor last week. Rod Millman’s charge may find further improvement with a visor fitted for the first time. Eligible makes his handicap debut having placed over today’s trip at Leicester while Filles De Fleur is another lightly-raced type who could figure having won at Chelmsford earlier. Keeper's Choice will be sharper for last month’s comeback run here while Javelin won off a higher mark on the all-weather in April, Knightshayes ran well at Leicester last time and Balata Bay has a shout on his third at Goodwood.
