Our vote here goes to Ballyrobert over Sherkin Island and Golly. Looking at the runners. Golly has quite a bit of chasing experience and, on the best of his novice efforts, is conceivably well weighted. Twenty Bucks was among the best of these over hurdles and is another that could be given a chance on the best of his efforts over the larger obstacles. Terek has to be considered following his solid Taunton win, for which he has been raised just three pounds. Sherkin Island has raced only twice under Rules but won over hurdles last time and, from the Jonjo O'Neill stable, is sure to have been well schooled. This brings us back to the selection. We do not think that Jeff King would be running him again after such a dismal show over this course and distance last time unless he was happy with him. As such, we'll give him another chance and he gets the nomination.
