In depth

Verdict

Valadom takes no prisoners and didn’t go down without a fight against Sir Ivan over 3m2f here three weeks ago. The flying grey is one for the shortlist again but could sent things up for a strong stayer like CYCLOP, who has already won three times this season and continues to run well. Easy Musselburgh winner Dubai Angel remains unexposed over fences and other recent winners, Psychedelic Rock and Tinkers Hill Tommy, are also worthy of consideration. Orchardstown Cross slips further down the weights but has plenty to find with the selection on Plumpton running in January.
