    Verdict

Sir Chauvelin was due to run over hurdles at Musselburgh yesterday though beat Burcan over track and trip in November. The latter’s stablemate Crowned Eagle was placed at Wolverhampton last time but the runner-up has been beaten subsequently while Lawless Secret found the testing ground against her in France having placed at Doncaster earlier. Dubawi Fifty needs further so a tentative vote in a tough opener goes to the unexposed PADDYPLEX, who has won both starts on the Flat so far and should show further progress over this longer trip with Oisin Murphy doing the steering.
