In depth

Verdict

MININGROCKS (NAP) continued his good progress when making all over 1m2f at Beverley to win an apprentices’ race by nine lengths. He escapes a penalty for this so has obvious claims with the longer trip likely to prove within his compass. The veteran Northside Prince was runner-up over track and trip a week ago and Megan Nicholls’ allowance helps his cause today while Falcon's Fire had been holding his form well until running a shocker at Hamilton last time. Silva Samourai has plenty to prove over today’s distance on previous form while Nonagon would prefer testing ground to show his best.
