Verdict

Goodbye is going the right way and is fancied to gain a second consecutive victory, Fluffy and Tour d'Amour are big dangers, while Eternal Legacy can also go well if he puts his mind to the task in hand. The last named was unlucky not to add to his tally when just touched off at Carlisle when he was last seen out. He tends to go well after a short break and is worth noting for signs of support. Tour d'Amour has won off a 5lb higher mark (albeit on the All Weather), so is potentially on a fair mark. Her last few efforts have been encouraging and bold bid cannot be ruled out. Fluffy is the least exposed in the line up and is hardly over faced for her handicap debut. As a full sister to the useful Flossy, a step up in distance will suit her in due course but she has shown enough in her previous starts to give them all something to think about this afternoon. however, Goodbye looks a more natural performer at this distance and, as she was not unduly punished for her win at Thirsk in July, Alan Swinbank's filly is fancied to pick up were she left off now the ground is in her favour.
