In depth

Verdict

Good Time Ahead has been in fine form at Southwell though a recent second at the latter track suggests he’s high enough in the weights now. Vercingetorix ran poorly back on the Flat last time but is better than that but WISHING WELL gets the vote. She’ll be sharper for a recent comeback over a shorter trip here and won over 2m at Ripon during the summer. Sugarloaf Mountain has been thereabouts in maiden company and this extra test of stamina may suit while Senatus finished well ahead of Braes Of Lochalsh when fourth here recently but is upped in class.
