In depth

Verdict

DESERT SPORT has shown plenty of pace over 6f and was in the lead at today’s distance when runner-up here last time. The third horse has subsequently won so the form looks solid and Robert Cowell’s colt can go one better in this. Bombay Dream is similar in that she also drops back in distance having shown up well until the closing stages over 6f at Haydock last month. Flame Of Hope and Marseille will likely improve but need to if they are to get involved, though the remainder are harder to fancy.
