INTREPID made a very promising debut at Newmarket last month and not surprisingly started favourite on a return visit two weeks later. He was very disappointing but probably raced on the wrong side where the ground was slowest so has to be given another chance. Bond Club also started favourite on his latest start at Thirsk where he didn't get the best of runs. He should improve again while Loch Moy ran green at Haydock on soft ground and will certainly make progress. He looks the main threat with Rich Forever, another likely improver, a possibility for a place at a decent price.
