In depth

Verdict

This looks a competitive finale with Halinka sure to be fancied having only lost out by a neck at Thirsk, though she has become frustrating to follow. Lady In Question finally got her head back in front at Carlisle last month and is only 3lb higher. Express Lady remains unexposed and was too keen on her handicap debut in July while Totally Magic has yet to run a bad race here and gets on well with Lewis Edmunds. Windsor runner-up Conqueress is another to consider but we’ll give another chance to WAHIBA, who has shown her best form over this trip despite placing over a mile on Polytrack – she may have benefited from a short break.
